Project Introduction:
The handheld radionuclide identifier developed by the team consists of a LaBr3 probe/NaI probe, multi-channel analyzer, high-voltage module, photomultiplier tube, energy spectrum acquisition and analysis software, computer, and connecting cables. This measurement system can acquire and process energy spectrum data of radioactive nuclides, allowing for the identification of the type and name of radioactive materials, as well as determining their properties. It also features the ability to search for and locate radiation sources. The main technical specifications meet the international electrical standard IEC 62327-2006.
Application Areas:
This device can be widely used in nuclear radiation emergency response and prevention, as well as in medical monitoring, radiation safety, industrial safety inspections, and environmental waste monitoring.
Technical Advantages:
Programmable high-voltage control, high count rate, low power consumption, fully digital technology, advanced pulse shape discrimination technology, high integration, and suitability for industrial-grade applications.
