The project team focuses on research and prototype development for gait analysis and recognition based on wearable technology. During the project, we designed a low-power, highly reliable smart insole to collect gait data. A deep learning-based method was proposed to identify common foot types. Additionally, we explored gait protocols suitable for acquiring foot and ankle motion data. Using a multi-modal hardware platform for data collection, we developed a gait recognition software system with a recognition rate that meets practical application needs.
